Alessandra Santos
Alessandra Santos is an inter-disciplinary artist and researcher whose practice includes performance, media, movement, and public interventions. Her art and research examine concept, form and process, utopias, technology, and meditations on social practice. In Los Angeles, she was part of two underground performance groups, Agape Organic Dance (from 2000 to 2003) and Butoh-inspired artivist collective Corpus Delicti (from 2003 to 2008). She performed in the streets, stage and art galleries. Recently she is a member of Vancouver AKA collective and worked as assistant professor of Latin American Literature and Cultures at the University of British Columbia.
